Overheat with towels or stick chopsticks in back of 2 fans untill the xbox shows 2 red lights then turn off and on should work if doesnt retry if doesnt work after 3 attemps try permanent fix

How to open an xbox 360 if you dont know how

I would advise You to buy a xbox 360 opening tool for about £3 from ebay otherwise you will damage the case doing it with a screwdriver.

You will also need a torx -10 and -8 screwdriver/tool to undo the screws when you get inside the xbox.

And instead of hook you can use small ended pliers

it works the same as the hook
